I am Senayt Gaim, founder of Children of Africa- Preschool and Cultural Center. My goal starting this school was to create a healing and empowering environment that focuses on self-love, identity, and confidence-building.
While I was completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Pan African Studies at Cal State Los Angeles I was inspired by the Marcus Garvey School. I loved how self-aware, brilliant, and vibrant the students were there. Drawing inspiration from that experience is the genesis of Children of Africa Daycare and Cultural Center.
